Bond County CUSD #2 believes in providing the best possible education for all students.  Over the past five years, teachers have been looking at current curriculum, shifting the new subject area learning standards and preparing students for state assessments.

In 2015-2016, BCCU #2 did inventory on our local and state assessments along with what students were currently being taught in our classrooms and an Educational Excellence/Curriculum Coordinating Committee began meeting.  

In 2016-2017, the Board of Education set as their first goal in the focus area of teaching and learning:
The district will provide vertically and horizontally aligned curriculum and programs that promote meaningful educational opportunities to prepare our students for becoming productive citizens.

In response the district assembled Curriculum Sub-Committees in key subject areas to develop curriculum guides for each grade level, from preschool through graduate.
